About our Firm:
We are a new wealth management firm based out of Miami and Houston. We were founded and managed by an experienced multidisciplinary professional (CPA / JD) with many years of experience in comprehensive wealth management. We allocate significant resources to each client, and we are a small team so each team member helps with all aspects of our business. Our firm is focused on broad based, comprehensive wealth management matters for business owners and wealthy families. Client planning and implementation matters we work on include investments, taxes, business structure, business sponsored retirement plans, estate and philanthropy. In summary, we drive the planning and implementation process to help ensure our clients have the opportunity to realize optimal outcomes.
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
You will work both remotely and in-person with the client service team based out of Miami Beach. You will be “hands on” with almost everything we are working on at our firm and for clients. Clients are mostly small business owners (we work with the owners, their families, their businesses, their employees and their professional team). You will be expected to plug into our client service team, systems and processes quickly. After you are onboarded, under the guidance & oversight of the senior relationship manager, you will be required to successfully help drive the implementation process of multi-phase wealth management related projects involving multiple third parties. You will help manage the client meeting cycle planning, preparation, logistics, and post meeting follow-up. Also, you will be heavily involved in the firm’s administration and systems. Further, you will assist the senior relationship manager in client planning matters, investment management, bespoke analysis and reporting processes. You will NOT be siloed into a department. You WILL have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of true comprehensive wealth management that is solely guided by the best interests of the client.
Requirements
Skills Required / Valued:
You have prior experience with one or more of the following: wealth management, investment management, banking, accounting, tax, retirement plans, insurance, and/or working as an assistant to business owners. Accounting and/or financial firm experience is very valuable. Knowledge of one or more of business entities, federal and state taxes, employee benefits, insurance and trusts is helpful.
Formal education with exposure to accounting, finance, business, investing, law, or tax is a plus.
Ability to, fairly soon after joining our firm, own and drive the client service process with the oversight of the senior relationship manager to free him / her up to work on new business, technical planning, and face time with clients and intermediaries.

Proactive, self-starter with ability to manage the successful resolution of complex projects with multiple parties. Ability to professionally drive projects with multiple phases and involving multiple parties to optimal conclusion.
Create / build and maintain systems. A person who can propose and implement better systems / work flows.
Strong research skills and ability to understand complex projects - will initiate tasks and figure things out.
Ability to effectively follow-up (professionally assertive at times) with 3rd party service providers (accountants, insurance agents, lawyers, financial institutions) to see a project to its best conclusion.
Proficient with Asana, G-Suite and Microsoft Office, including spreadsheets, flowcharting, word processing and powerpoint. Preparing client / prospect presentations. Comfortable with cloud based systems / applications.

You will work as the assistant in a three person client service team led by a senior relationship manager. Initially working a few hours a week and quickly ramping up as you plug into our workflows & systems. Compensation negotiable.
